Schools in Yatala 

While a family-friendly suburb, there is only one school within the suburb bounds of Yatala, Rivermount College, a private school ranging from prep to grade 12.  

There are, however, a number of schools located nearby, with Ormeau and Beenleigh offering several private and public education options.  

Beenleigh State High School, Ormeau Woods State High School, Norfolk Village State School, and Ormeau State School offer families the best of Queensland state education. 

Ormeau and Ormeau Hills also offer a number of private and religious education institutions offing K-12 co-education, from Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School, LORDS, Livingstone Christian College, and St Joseph's Tobruk Memorial School.
